Around 11:30pm on September 26th, my mom passed on. She had been battling an aggressive form of ovarien cancer for five years and after having to get an ostomy surgery began to slowly deteriorate health wise. Dad, Lindsey, and I, watched her around the clock from the moment we received Hospice to the moment she passed. It was a painful experience watching someone who raised you for 26 years become unresponsive and unable to complete daily requirements such as eating and drinking. She somehow managed to keep trucking along for a total of three weeks before passing.

Just found out from Dad that my grandmother on my mom's side passed away this morning. It hit me pretty hard because when we would visit her, she was always so nice to me. She even showed me how to tell when a fig was ripe, talked with me over silly things like games, and even went apple picking with us when we lived in Massachusetts. I have so many memories of her and its taking everything I have not to bawl my eyes out. I know she never liked seeing me sad or in pain.
Grandma Sarah, you helped me in so many ways. I will never forget you; not now, not ever. Rest in peace and know that none of us will forget you. I love you so much Grandma...
